Brant's song "The Last Songwriter" won third place in the 2025 Dallas Songwriters Association International Song Contest, in the Americana/ Folk category!

Brant's song "In the Meantime" was one of ten finalists in the 2025 International Acoustic Music Awards, Country/Bluegrass category!

Brant was a semi-finalist in the 2024 International Songwriting Competition! The climate anthem "I Wanna Be Cool," was co-written with Will Kimbrough. 

Brant receives an honorable mention in the 2024 Hazel Dickens Song Writing Contest! His song "In the Meantime" was one of three songs receiving this honor. It will be on his new album scheduled for release in 2025!

The music video for "I Wanna Be Cool," a song co-written by written by Brant and Will Kimbrough, was released on Sept. 23, 2024 at the Green School Conference in NYC, and was shown every day at the COP29 Climate Summit in November!  Brant and Will wrote it at a workshop hosted by The ClimateMusic Project and Music Declares Emergency US, which included input from prominent climate scientists. The Be Cool! Climate Action Campaign is using the song and music video (130,000+ views) to inspire meaningful climate action and mobilize global youth to combat the world's worsening ecological crisis!

Brant's song "No Interest in That" is one of eleven finalists in the 2022 International Acoustic Music Award, Folk/Americana/Roots category!
